You know by now I am a big fan of marketing on social media. It is the best way to reach a large network of dream clients that you normally wouldn’t be able to access if you were to market your business the old-fashioned way.
But social media comes with its limitations. That’s why events can be a critical piece to your business’s growth.
Why live events?
There is no faster way that I've found to build the ‘know, like, and trust’ factor with potential clients than to spend time with them in person and let them experience your energy.
And we KNOW that when people know, like, and trust us, they are more likely to buy from us - aka lead to more SALES.
Yes, we can accomplish this online with live video trainings/events, too, but there's just something about an in-person connection that moves people into deciding, “Yes, I love your energy and want to do this!” or “Nope, it's not for me.”
BOTH of these are great responses because it moves you through the prospecting journey much faster and cuts through uncertainty.
How can you get started?
The name of the game here is intentionality. You don't want to plan any random event just to do it. You want to plan an event that draws in your potential clients.
So, if you're selling yoga mats, a yoga festival or event would bring you tons of possible prospects. If you are a nutrition expert, a live event centered around healthy cooking can position you as an authority in your field.
Don’t discount events just because the planning seems overwhelming and you are not entirely sure how to do it. Be open to the idea and don’t shy away from asking for help.
